Frequently Asked Questions over Stainless Steel Thermos Mug 500ml

How long does the drink stay hot or cold in this travel mug?

Thanks to the double-walled, insulated stainless steel construction, your drink stays at the right temperature longer than in a regular cup. The exact duration in hours is not mentioned in the product description and varies depending on the ambient temperature and how full the cup is. For a specific time indication, we recommend confirming this with the supplier.

Can I carry this mug in my bag lying down?

The cup has a sturdy lid that prevents leaks, making it safe to carry in a bag or backpack. For extra security during horizontal transport, we recommend keeping the cup upright where possible, especially when fully filled, until the exact locking mechanism has been confirmed by the supplier.

How do I clean a narrow, deep thermal mug properly?

A standard dish brush or your hand often won't reach the bottom of a narrow, deep cup. Use a special bottle brush to scrub the bottom thoroughly so that no coffee or tea residue remains to affect the taste of your next drink. Rinse with warm water.

Can the cup go in the dishwasher?

According to the product description, the travel mug is easy to clean, both by hand and in the dishwasher. However, to best preserve its insulation and appearance, it is advisable to regularly rinse and dry the lid and stainless steel body by hand as well.

What is the difference between a thermal mug and a regular thermos flask?

A thermal mug, like this 500 ml version, is more compact and often features a drinking lid for on-the-go use, while a thermal flask is usually larger and intended for keeping drinks hot or cold for longer periods before pouring them out. Both use double-walled insulation, but a thermal mug is more convenient for direct use throughout the day.

Does the outside of the cup stay cold or hot to the touch during use?

No, thanks to the double-walled construction, this thermal mug prevents the outside from feeling hot or cold, even when the contents are boiling hot or ice-cold. This makes the mug comfortable to hold without needing a holder or glove.
